Snowplanet offers an awesome experience with skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing and great food in the warm 7 Summits Restaurant & Bar. The staff are helpful and extremely friendly, always engaging in welcoming conversations. The Snowdome offers terrain to suit all ages and abilities, from beginner to more advanced; and the freestyle terrain park caters to for all abilities too, with a brand new park every Friday in time for Freestyle Friday!  Overall this place is incredible and regularly offers great deals, especially at night.  Located in Silverdale, just outside Auckland, it can take a bit of a drive to get there from the city or south but it’s well worth it! These prices include a full day on the snow. Half days, 4 hour and 2 hour passes are less. Most nights runa special offer so check out Snowplanet.co.nz for deals. Rental equipment is available for hire, including clothing, gloves and helmets.

 

DON'T FORGET:

you don't have to be good! Get some lessons or just practice, practice, practice. And after your runs visit the 7 Summits Restaurant & Bar for some delicious food and maybe a drink!

 

OUR TIPS:

We recommend wrist guards for beginners.  Helmets will be compulsory from 1st April 2015.
